According to the FDA, Cronobacter infection in newborns is life-threatening, and infants contracting that can develop symptoms like sepsis, meningitis, temperature changes, fever, abdominal cramps, aches, diarrhea and bowel damage. Likewise, Salmonella can lead to life-threatening conditions. If parents notice your baby has those symptoms, you'd better go get medical care immediately.
